DIFFERENT BUT UNIQUE

1

Lord, thank you for creating everything in the universe for something greater. For relationship, and it's for relationship that you created us different but unique, unique in different ways that are special too. There is no way this can be more represented than our relationship with you, then with the people you bring us close to. What amazes me is the fact that we can't experience the fullness of the relationship if we don't first have it with you.

Enjoying these relationships also takes accepting and appreciating the differences among us, why this is so is because they are not determined by a given individual, some people may wish it was so, then they would chose to be identical in personality with their best friends or people they admire.
This would be fun I can't deny, I can't mention how many misunderstandings that would get rid of, I would have no need of explain myself after making a statement just because people have not understood me. It would get rid of my getting angry of other people's mannerism, because they would adopt mine which I think is the best. .......... (joking)
People would not be ashamed of walking among others they don't share certain things with, because they would all be the same, it would give them a sense of belonging and identity.

This would be cool, anyone would agree, but I solemnly believe there is a better lesson to be embraced than an identity than makes you belong. The challenge this gives us is appreciating the differences among us, looking at them not with a negative point of view but a positive one.
Shifting from grumbling of how different I am from the rest or how different the rest are from me to looking at them with an attitude of gratitude.
This is not easy, it wasn't easy and it will not be easy if the differences among us are just differences, they are more than that, they are unique nesses, unique nesses that must be appreciated, valued, treasured and to be learned from if they are to be enjoyed. unique nesses that don't flee us away from each other but bring us to intimate relationship first with God then with each other.

My forefathers were bound by the principle of relating with people they heard blood bound with, relating basing on culture, tribes, clans, families, regions, countries and continents. This has affect all of us in one way or the other, this looks cool and great for a moment but one thing we don't realize for a long time is that it limits us from enjoying cross cultural relationships. Not to mention the learning from each other.
It is for this reason that I dream, dreaming not of wealth and health, but dreaming for a better world, a new world, a new generation, a generation where our sons and daughters are not judged by the color of their skin but basing their judgment on the heart, basing it on what they believe and in whom they bank their hope for the happiness of their future and the generations after them. A nation where the external dignity of man is respected more than anything else, where we are not respected because of any other thing or factor but simply because we are human beings and more so possess the great art of the Almighty God .I have nothing in me to deserve any respect, that’s not in my powers. If we base the respect we give to people on status and material wealth and possession then some of us will die without being valued, not because we don't want to be respect, everybody does but because we can't even imagine affording the cost, the cost would then be considered too high above our reach.
Can you risk the love and respect to those opposite you even when it is thrown back right into your face? One man or woman's willingness to obey this call can change the destiny of millions. This is a call to everyone but not to the timid and weak, it’s a call to the brave and courageous, don’t try it if you know you will quit someday, it’s a lifetime commitment.

THE SPEECH

I thought i was saying things that the lord had done in my life for the past twenty weeks, i didn't know it would have an impact on me after wards.  this message has become part of my life each day from the time it came out of my mouth, it has had more impact on my life after saying it than before,  i have more revelation now than then, the Lord has used this speech to build my life, so it was not for the people who heard it then but for specifically me. i know it's really long but i want it to be more exposed to me every day by printing it and hanging it on the wall. there is always some thing that make me cry every time i read this. i dedicate it to you.

I have lived to see God using imperfect men and women to touch lives of children, maturing them into useful men and women great to the society. It’s been a privilege growing up here under loving arms and caring hearts,
Well, I must say that I have no single grain of regret having sat in these chairs for these last twenty weeks.
It has been great understanding myself in the family of God, truly embracing the fatherhood of God,
knowing that am chosen, loved, redeemed, accepted, loved, forgiven and adopted for the praise of name.
Finding my identity nowhere else but in Him knowing am his and his mine.
It’s now that I realize that I kind of wasted the suffering God brought to me in the early years of my life,

I wish I had known, i would have given God more glory than he received in my grumbling and asking him the question WHY ME?
The beginning of hardship in life is the first taste of bitter food—it seems for a moment unbearable; yet if there is nothing else to satisfy our hunger, we take another bite and find it possible to go on.
it requires more courage to suffer than to die.
To the unbeliever the fact of suffering only convinces him that God is not to be trusted and does not love us. To the believer, the opposite is true.”
Am now at a point of my life where am looking for opportunities to lose my life in the arms of God than wasting it under the control of Satan with fear and lies

“I realized that the deepest spiritual lessons are not learned by God’s letting us have our way in the end,
but by His making us wait, bearing with us in love and patience until we are able to honestly to pray what He taught His disciples to pray: Thy will be done.”
With Cole and Tristan on our graduation day
The gospel is a way of overcoming every obstacle to everlasting joy in God, if we don’t want God above all things,
then we have not been converted by the gospel.
Experience has quickly taught me that i can not survive the storms without the anchor of prayer and faith.

Many of us have lived our lives striving to be somebody Through
Fame, wealth, career and title.
Not knowing we were meant to know Jesus the author and perfecta of our faith who is the somebody.
I pray that all of us will not waste our lives on that which doesn’t matter
but will finish the race perseverance, displaying the gospel of the grace of God in all that we do.
The lord has given me a call beyond dreams and fantasy,
Beyond living for myself, but living for others, serving the wounded and the oppressed.
The lord has blessed me and my cup is over flowing, I don’t want to waste the overflow, am taking it to Gulu

strength and courage are not always measured in medals and victories,
they are measured in struggles they overcome. For
The strongest people are not people who always win but people who do not give up when they lose,
People who don’t justify themselves right but people who are kind.
it’s a crushed grape that produces wine so
Difficulties are meant to arouse us, not to discourage us.

The human spirit is to grow by conflict.
Remember that, The only limit to our realization of tomorrow is always our doubts of today.
And remember, to be eternity oriented is knowing well that we have two dates on our eternity calendar, now and then, how are you using your now in preparation for then?
“Of one thing I am perfectly sure: God's story never ends with 'ashes.”

ITS NOT OUR Words that are going to change the world
it’s not the songs we sing as Christians
, not the big houses we stay in or the big churches we fellowship from.
they’ve had it all’ and some of them sleep in better houses than our churches
but there is one thing I believe will change them. Jesus also believed it. John 13:34-35

One thing that will attract the pagans to the God we worship.
When they see love start from families,
When we love one another;
seek justice, correct oppression;
bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow's cause.
that is what will show to them that our God is great and will desire to come in relationship with him saiah 1:17

This job has been given to the church
Therefore, it is a gift.
a privilege.
an offering we may make to God.
Therefore, it is to be done gladly, if it is done for Him.
In this job, God looks for faithfulness.”
Ready or not, someday it will come to an end. There will be no more sunrises, no sunsets.
Your wealth and fame will shrivel to irrelevance.
It won’t matter whether you were beautiful or handsome,
How will the value of your days be measured?
What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built
Not what you got but what you gave.
Not what you learned but what you taught.
Not your competence but your character.
Living a life that matters is not influenced by circumstances but a choice.
A choice of living in daily awareness of his presence, and in genuine repentance by faith and walking in accountability with trusted authority.
GIVING  ME A FATHER'S BLESSING
